At present I am being underserved by WiMax On Line, and have a problem almost daily, they tell me "We are trying to sort it but it is difficult because there is noise signal on that area, from the transmitter to your home".

If you have 'noise on the line' that is your problem & needs to be sorted.

I don't think a booster will help.

Thanks for your input Roland, maybe would have been clearer if I had put their (WiMax) reply, as follows, "We are trying to sort it but it is difficult because there is noise signal on that area, from the transmitter to your home". So it would appear that the problem does lay outside my home.
