Hi all, we have just had an offer accepted on a house in La Pinilla, subject to a positive viewing when all the COVID 19 restrictions are lifted and we can travel. Is there anyone else on here that lives there or is nearby? Will be looking for advice on workmen and best internet etc.

Thanks jeni

Not mis-read and we are fully aware of the risks. 90+ images viewed and offer was subject to a positive viewing and no structural issues identified

Fair enough. Best wishes.

I assume you have spent some time there, understand proximity to services, frequency of transport, sources of noise, mosquitoes etc.

Hi Jeni,

Congratulations on your purchase and I'm sure you'll be very happy there.  Sorry that the other responses haven't been over-welcoming!

We live just down the road from La Pinilla in Cuevas de Reyllo.  We moved in nearly 18 months ago and we absolutely love it.  It helps having Hacienda del Alamo just a few minutes up the road for tennis, padel tennis, golf etc. and a decent size town, Fuente Alamo, fairly close by.  If you want/need any contacts for anything like insurance, internet, builders, man with a van, decorators, translator etc., do drop me a line via private message.  We'd be happy to help out.  Also, I'd be happy to let you have my contact details by private message.  If you want them, do please ask.

Hope it all goes through smoothly for you and that you are able to travel over here soon.

Good luck and best wishes.

Brian & Lynn.

Hi both, that's really kind offer, may well have to take you up on it. We are at early stages as yet. Still need to view it before the final yes but all looks promising. Solicitor has been in touch and getting the ball rolling regards NIE certificates etc. Will be in touch.

Thank you

Jeni & Tony
