I have been on holiday to Lo Pagan the last two years and will be visiting again in July. I am 80+ and my wife is 70+. San Pedro is too far to walk. I would like to know if there is a bus service?  I have never seen a bus, and can't find a service on the internet.

We were there a few weeks ago and did see a bus on the front near the Neptuno hotel. Not sure where it went to. But there was definitely a bus running. Hope that helps a little.

I have attached a link to the local/town bus service La Inmaculada. This does the town of San Pedro Del Pinatar [of which Lo Pagan is a part] and the surrounding areas. There are 2 other services, Latbus and Costa Azul that are for further afield. I dont believe the local/town bus service  travels on Calle Campamor[ the road along the beach] It depends exactly where in Lo Pagan you are. Taxis are another option They are very reasonable and very reliable. You will need to learn a few basic words in spanish - where you are to be picked up and where you are going....that sort of stuff. Phone No. 0034968180808.The main rank is down @ the fish market near Restaurante Venezuela, and sometimes there is a taxi parked at/near the entrance to the muds. In that same space is a Tourist Information Cabin that will have timetables for buses and routes. We are off out there for a month in the beginning of June.It will be our 14th or 15th trip.......as you may guess we love it.

Hope this is of some use to you and if you think I can be of any further help, just ask.

Hi there,

I am going to stay in San Javier this time September but am also planning ahead to go daily to the muds/salty baths from there. Can I ask if the link provided is up to date and what is your latest experiences of these buses use, reliable etc??

Also, I currently look out for the best option on return airport transfer ( Alicante airport to San Javier and back). Can you recommend any please?

Many thanks in advance,

Tanya

No 70 from Latbus stops all regularly along the main road from San Pedro to Lo Pagan, goes to San Javier and onwards to Murcia if you want
