Hi all we are new to Lo Pagan just bought property.We have yet to get our NIE number been waiting 3mths. What I want to know is can I get my electric switched on without it. Any help would be great

I would get back in touch with the company you used to buy the property and ask them to get all your utilities etc in your name.

Are you sure you don’t have an NIE?
If you have purchased a property in Spain, you need to have an NIE number by the time you sign the deeds of purchase before the notary, an event known as the escritura.
Did you use a solicitor?

Apparently you don’t need an NIE ,only for paying taxes.Our solicitor had power if attorney Hopefully we will have electric today still waiting on water
