Hi,

My wife and I found this kitten by the side of the road at Roda village last night. She had been hit by a car and left there. We took her home & brought her to the vet this morning. Thankfully the x-rays showed no broken bones but she is a bit bruised and traumatized by her accident. She is being kept in by the vet in San Javier over the weekend to allow her to recover. While my wife and I have a place in Roda we are only here on vacation and will be returning to Ireland next weekend. All her veterinary bills have been covered and I’m hoping that we might be able to find a home for her before we leave, failing that I hope that at the least the rescue centre will house her. If anyone has an interest in her please let me know.

Thanks

Dave

Well done Dave, one very lucky kitten to have you passing by, pity the driver who struck it failed to stop.  Good luck in finding a new home, sorry we're in UK.  Come on good people,  help him out.

Have you found home for the kitten?

No, not yet. Kitten is still in the vet, still a bit shook up and is being fed by hand at the moment. Will be back to check on her on Wednesday. Vet is also trying to source a home for her.

Thanks

Can you tell me anymore?

Has vet given estimated age? Is she spayed?

Thanks

Hi Beanie,

I would say she’s only a couple of months old & wouldn’t have been spayed. I can ask vet about it on Wednesday. I’d be happy to pay any vet bills for her if it meant she got a good home. I’ve paid the vet fees to date arising from the accident. I’ll get back to you on this on Wednesday if you’re interested, after I’ve spoken to the vet.

Thanks

Dave

Yes we are interested if she hasn't found a home by then, if a home does come up before then, please consider us as a back up and give someone else first refusal

Hi.

I am having to re-home my 2 year old part mainecoone cat. He has thin bones and has broken his leg. I have had him fixed by a metal plate.

My problem is he needs to be either in the Campo where he can roam or be contained in an apartment that he can't escape from.

It has been impossible for me to keep him in.

Even with is leg in a splint he stil managed to jump over a 2 MTR wall and into the street.

As you can see, he is good with other cats and dogs. It will be very sad to see him go but his welfare needs to come first.

If you or you know of anyone who can help. Please contact me.

He has been done and all his vacines are up to date.

Thank you.
