First day out.
I waited in anticipation like most of you to venture out on the 2 nd of May. I was in the 8pm to 11 pm section. This is the most popular group.6-10am is bit too early for me.
So off I went to the seafront which has been a distant memory. It did not take me long to see what was making me edgy and caustious .
Hundreds of people were walking the seafront as they were allowed to but many had no protection of facemasks or gloves. Distance was a problem as people were walking in opposite directions.
There were people stopped and talking with little distance between them also unprotected.
The exercise runners were coming from both directions and were exhaling heavily not far from  people. I suppose it is hard to run with a mask.So I decided to retreat to areas of less activity. I was wearing my mask that I was provided with by the council and latex gloves.
I am posting this as an observation not as a critisism in the hope that anyone who ventures out at this time of day are aware of their possible encounters.
I hope people take their protection and the protection of others to their hearts. This is not a personal aspersion on anyone , it is not meant to be a post for debate. Like you, I want to roam freely through our beautiful town and I really look forward to it. But let's all do it with protection for each other in mind. Keep safe.I hope it helps someone.

I can understand how you felt. We walked down to the village and sea front prom on the first night of freedom. Even though there were very few people about, we were very wary when we had to pass anyone. Luckily others must have been feeling the same as there was good distancing. We only saw 2 people with masks which wasn’t a problem as nobody came near. Have since chosen to take alternative secluded routes down to different beaches where we have not passed others and only seen people in the distance. I appreciate we are in a very quiet part of Costa Calida and I am thankful for that. It keeps the anxiety levels down.
