Car Hire - Alicante

We have family flying in to Alicante from USA. Any recommendations on 'good' car hire firms that don't hassle you to up-sell all the obscure insurance add-ons? Rambosjr

Personally I like Firefly and Record go car rental…..but I’m afraid they will all try to sell the extra insurances etc. I believe it’s how they earn a bonus and also it’s their job……but a polite No Thank You to the extras seems to do the trick.

If you use the 'big' companies - Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, then you don't tend to get the hassle - however, these companies cost more in the first place.

I've recently had good experiences with Enterprise and also with Centauro.
