Do you do longterm rent over a year

Hi - unfortunately not. This  to the changes in Spanish law that allow tenants to run up  a large amount of unpaid rent before they can be evicted. The longest period of rental  I would consider is 6 months.  Many people, both private and through an agent, are now wary of long term tenants and for a 6 month let will  insist upon 6 months rent in advance along with a substantial deposit.  Its an unfortunate situation all round.

We are a retired Australian couple planning to move to Mar Menor Golf Resort in May 2018.

We will be visiting in Feb 2018 with a view to purchasing on Mar Menor Golf Resort. We plan to move in May 2018 so will require a rental property for at least a month while we find a place to purchase and I guess settlement time as well.

Our needs are 2 bedroom 2 bathroom minimum with preference for ground or top floor apartments. It looks like your apartment is very suitable for our needs and looks very nice.

Your apartment is handy to Mar Menor Golf Resort so was wondering what the monthly rental would be for 1-3 months and if it is available in April May and June?

We are still not sure on our total months as we need to see how Feb goes first. If we find something quickly (we have appointments with real estate agents already) then we would only be needing settlement time to rent but if we don't find something then we would need longer.

I am aware that June and July are higher rental times so this will also be a factor for us to consider.
