Hi I'm interested in buying a property in mar de cristal ive seen a lovely 3 bed apartment close to the beach within my price range what's the area like is it friendly towards English people and what's the crime rate like also is there much nightlife and how safe is the area

Hi. We love having an apartment in Mar de Cristal. Lovely area. Lovely people. Brits are lovely and friendly. It’s cheap to live here and cheap to eat out. Lovely to eat and drink out. Plenty of options. Lovely areas to visit such as La Manga, Cabo de palos, cal blanque national park and much more. We have not regretted buying there. Crime rate is not bad. If ground floor I would have alarms fitted just like I do in the UK. On the whole you won’t regret it. Open in the winter months too as it is residential as well as holiday apartments. Much quieter though.
