Our boiler has worked fine until recently when a builder came and did some levelling of radiators. He says the pump has seized so we can’t get hot water or heating. Any advice/rec

Sounds like he dislodged sludge in the system & blocked the pump.

Dose the pump not have stop valuves at either end so you can remove possibly clean or just buy a new pump and replace yourself?

Sometimes tapping the pump sharply with a hammer can work.

Thank you so much for the replies. Boiler fixed using a local plumber suggested in the replies I received. It can be daunting when dealing with things when you’re a newbie, so having the forum to ask for advice is perfect. Thanks again and happy new year
