Does anyone know anywhere l can take our dogs near the village to have a good run. I had a good look round but other than golf courses near Torre Pacheco there’s no grass areas that l could find around San Cayetano.

You're not supposed to have dogs off the lead but many people do. You could take them to the mountain, there are fields at the bottom, but you'll have to watch out for snakes and scorpions. People let their dogs off in the rambla and across the field where the farmer grows his melons towards the canal. If they are sociable dogs then topdoghotel.es do doggy play sessions, safest place.

Top Dog Hotel is on border of Los Alcazares and San Javier about 5-10 mins from you. 3 nights a week doggie play in a supervised secure area...very sociable for the dogs and adults too! 5€ per owner. Look at their Facebook page...this week its Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 7:00 pm
There are also a few good public doggie parks in LA and San Javier ...good opportunity to practice your Spanish!
