Hi again,  if I remember rightly, Jan and Feb were generally very dry and pretty settled. Sometimes it can be windy but it wasn't for the most part. March and April were more unsettled with clouds and wind interspersed with glorious days, though not wet, apart from the Easter weekend when it poured with rain for 4 whole days, the worst weather for Easter that they'd had for 50 years! Last year we had great weather in March and April!

Generally, if it does rain, it does it and then stops and the sun comes out again. 

We also spent 5 weeks there in the summer 2 years ago and didn't find it too crowded or busy on the roads. Yes, the restaurants get busy but from around 9 to 9.30pm. Parking gets busy at the beach but park a couple of roads back or walk to the beach if you can. It's lively but good to see, in our opinion.

Hi, we bought here 2 years ago and i have been here in every month except December!

The nights from late October to early March are very cold, but this February i was on the beach getting a tan😁 we were in the pool.from mid may till 12 October last year, this year we had severe rain and floods over Easter in April, so the pool was cool until late May. 

June was wonderful with daily temperatures of 26 and 19 at night, july has been hell with daily temps of 34 and 30 at night....sleep is a distant memory😂 thank god for the pool!

Most people who live here, including Spaniards, go away somewhere cooler in mid July/August, its a good time for a trip home to Ireland😁

Renting somewhere for 6 months is a good plan, you get to know the area and whether you like the lifestyle here. Winter is quiet, but there are local bars etc that are open. Many people enjoy the warmer days and simply stay home in the darker colder winter months.

When it rains here you usually get a huge deluge which can last from 20 mins to a week! Google " floods in San Pedro 2018 " to see some examples.

Its a good place, council could do with spending money on pavements and cleaning up waste ground...dog owners need policing more to carry bags and clear up after their pooches and that for us is the main problem, so its people not the place that are at fault here😉

That is exacltly what we do, we fly in and out, howevrr we both work but can do it anywhere thst there is a good internet connection, we spent 7 weeks from September here last year, this year i came for a month mid feb, and we both came out 6th May this year and go home on 2nd August....back here 21 October, with no return date yet decided...we go.home once flights are cheap!

Hi Kate, your situation sounds similar to ours, although we're both semi retired. We spend long spells there and are next going out from the 19th Sept till the 24th Oct. Our villa is not far from the New Castelar College. Are you anywhere near there?
