We have a property in Santiago del la Ribera and visit from the UK currently four to five times a year

We would ;like to have access to the phone system in Spain, and for some situation we do require

access to a Spanish telephone number.

Any advice please, on the most economic and best value SIM cards probably PAYG

"Pay as you Go" unless there is a better and more economic method?

Thank you and very grateful for any input and feedback on the subject

Agreed. I bought one from very nice English speaking lady over the phone.

Coverage on HITS (Vodafone network I believe) seems to be better than Orange (I have Spanish Orange SIM too!)

Can I also suggest when you next come over go to Dos Mares and have a chat with Marta in the Phone Shop opposite Carrefour, we talked to all the alternatives and the Phone Shop have a SIM for €5 per month with Llamaya, we picked one up in February and it is fine.

I took a photo of the options as attached.

You do need to present ID and provide info on property and bank account for monthly payments....(read up on this detail)
