I have water in all four footwells of my car. Mopping up has not been very successful. Can anyone recommend any service that would clean and dry the carpets.

Thanks Mike

There's a couple of car valeters on Calle Castillio de Javier which is just behind the Trabuco......one of them might be able to help..

Good luck.

You don't say how much water is in the car or where it came from. I assume rightly or wrongly, that it was flooded. The carpets really need to come out if it's more than surface water, and depending on make and model age etc, it could be a big job. You don't want moisture trapped under the carpet because it'll be there a long time. If it is flood water it will smell so bad you might have to replace your carpet altogether.

I hope you get it sorted out quickly.

You will probably need far more than a valet - mud with all sorts in it will be in the bodywork of the car and start corrosion from within. You should be claiming from the compensation scheme after getting a quote from a good garage.
