The one Roland is recommending is not as detailed as my original one which is titled " Free Spanish bank for non residents", posted in 2019.Go to "Banking forum", input title, input Yecla area ,but "everywhere" is ok too and it should bring it up with my name Paulsav.

A Spanish N26 account is definitely the way to go. Select the very basic account and sign up with your nie number. Put in Spanish address n get your card. Absolutely excellent. Ensure it's the Spanish n26, then you can transfer all your DD to it.

There may be a slight snag with the N26 account.
According to this link it is not available to residents of the UK.
