Mattress to dispose

Hi, I am only here for 1 week three times a year. Recently I replaced my mattress. Now I have no idea how to dispose of old mattress. Can anyone advise me ?

You can contact the council and they will tell you where to leave it and they will come and collect it, However if you leave it by a bin it will disappear within an hour usually.

The local council have a collection service for large household items.
