Hi read that there may be a billion mosquito s  coming to the area due to the stagnant water from the floods. We are coming out on Wednesday and I am fearful as my husband is immunocompromised due to chemotherapy. Also, years ago we were in Greece and mosquito s nearly ate him alive! I am thinking it would be best not to go. Has anyone any information on the mosquito plight?

Much appreciated.

Thanks we were so looking forward to it and packed and everything but I cannot take the chance with my husband. We have been out earlier this year and lived it so will just plan for early next year.

The helicopters have been out spraying the area to try to eradicate them,

However you can purchase a good spray from most farmicias and they do work, but you of course must remember to use it.
