H everyone, we are hoping to move to El Carmolí in the summer, covid permitting. We have been told that you need to get military clearance to buy property in this area. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi, we are moving to El Carmoli in a few weeks, can anyone recommend someone to help us with padron and residency etc.

Now that all of Spain has reached the New Normality are we allowed to use community pools without restrictions?

Up to now the cost of opening community pools was massive so ours and most others have stayed shut but surely those rules have now been relaxed?

What's everyone's understanding on this?

I noticed a satellite downstairs and the previous owners had there TV's set up in the lounge and bedroom upstairs and downstairs. I cant get any channels and need a wifi service provider.  Could anyone help with a contact no. And also  best wifi for my area . Many thanks ;))

Hi, I have begun the process of applying for Spanish residency and my solicitor has given plenty of good advice. One requirement is to obtain full Spanish Health insurance the cost of which seems to vary immensely.

Can anyone recommend a suitable insurer for residency purposes that is relatively simple to apply for and at a reasonable cost?

Any advice most welcome.

I have rented a house in Los Urrtas via Homez and the lady has just cancelled on me because she is scared of the Corona Virus.

So we now urgently need to find somewhere to stay that is not too expensive.

Am I the only one bothered by the almost constant barking of dogs in Spain!

Almost every house whether Spanish or British seem to have at least one mad dog that starts barking at the slightest thing thus setting other dogs in the village off. Don't the owners hear the noise or are they all deaf?

My wife says I take too much notice of them but sometimes it's hard to ignore.

I don't expect anyone to have a solution but a problem shared and all that!
