Might be an idea to phone the branch and ask to speak to her personally. Many Spanish who speak English don't like writing it - I had a similar problem with La Caixa and was told they prefer to speak it (English) than write it. That's just one branch though, could be different for others. Generally they are very helpful.

Hi Ann thank you for your message in the past (before these crazy times) we have had e-mails from Beatriz I really can't understand it!  Didn’t want to ring as our Spanish is not very good!  Especially having a Yorkshire accent !!😂😂.  But thank we may to try. 

Hi Nina, don't worry. Just say "Es posible hablar con Beatriz por favor" (Is it possible to speak with Beatrix please). Or "es posible hablar con una persona en Inglés por favor" - (Is it possible to speak with someone in English please?) It's only a smallish branch so that should produce a result for you. Don't worry about your lovely Yorkshire accent, they are used to hearing all sorts of accents here including my Irish one!  If it helps PM me your phone no. & full name & I'll have a go at contacting her for you with a view to having her call you. I'm in the area for another two weeks.

No problem Nina, it's no trouble - no, I don't use Facebook. If you pm me on the site here I can give your details to Beatrix and hopefully she will call you or email you then. I may be there tomorrow or We'd. Will let you know. 

I think you will find that you have to put a zero before the number of your NIE, and drop the letters at start and finish to access the account.
