Hi Trish. The message that I had sent was picked up by someone called Gema.

She sent me a number of emails for information.

I answered everything that she asked.

She then informed me that this will be passed on to her colleague David.

That was last Tuesday.

I originally contacted two people.

Someone on Facebook, and the advisors that you mentioned.

It is possible of course that they are both named David.

Maybe the contact that I have had so far was off the person off Facebook.

Either way. Both were contacted either by the person named earlier, or by Abico advisors.

I was in the middle of mine but on 20th July they changed the rules. Residencia is no longer available, you need to apply for a TIE.  If you use a gestoria they will do it for you it costs about €250 for their services. You need to hurry though as I still haven't got my appointment through yet and after December 31st it will all change again 

Yes. I know I have to get the TIE.

As long as you are in the system. You are ok.

I see the time being extended to June now, although still trying to get before.

We need to get other things in place 1st such as health insurance, bank statements up to date padron and photos.

Yes, it’s a real juggling act! By the time we had everything in order our padrones were out of date! When we updated them, I misplaced our photos and David Ruiz had to hunt round for an office that would give us an appointment.... there were few available.
