Banking recommendations for Camposol/Mazzaron?

Free banking is Spain is not as common as in the UK, especially if you are a non resident. We bank with Caixa on Camposol and do not pay bank charges, because we took out a home insurance policy with them. I have seen several posts from people who are using online banks such as Tranferwise, which allow you to set up direct debits and do not charge fees.

Hi, we are non resident and use Transferwise and a Starling Bank account for everything.  No need at all to open a Spanish bank account.  Good luck 👍

Hi we Bank with Sabadell and after reading reviews about opening up a Euro Transferwise Account.Is the Transferwise Account a free bank account and how did you transfer Your Direct Debits.Did you contact Companies Direct or get a Solictor to do this.My Spanish is not that Good to explain to Companies to transfer DDR to another Account.Thanks

You can mostly update your direct debits by logging into the provider portals online. You can change the site language to English using your browser, or website language selection option at the top or bottom of the homepage.
