When I plan to retire to Camposol my income will be mainly my UK based company pension topped up with my UK state pension. Will I pay UK or Spanish Tax? Do I have a choice over which one I pay and if so which one would be better?
Apologies for the question, I've just discovered "Jims Guides" which, I think will tell me everything I need to know.
Seems very complicated though!

You will be a fiscal resident in Spain and your tax will be paid to Spain. Personal allowance is lower and banding for different amounts of tax is different. You will probably pay more in Spain but you don’t have a choice. You dont need a solicitor to do your return ...better and cheaper to find an assesoria.
