Taxed our Spanish Car today Murcia/Mazarron area and noticed on the VEHICULOS TRACCION MECANICA that the car is still registered at our old Spanish address
Does anyone know how we can change the address on the VEHICULOS TRACCION MECANICA document to our current address in Spain.

Try going to tax office behind the tabac in the high street or town hall
Do you have a padron in your new address if not get a new one at town hall.

We don’t have a padrón as we are non residents, but I’ll try the tax office and town hall as ever thanks for your help.

First you need to change the registered address of the vehicle with the DGT. You can do this online with a digital certificate or a Cl@ve. Once the vehicle is registered there, you can do the "baja" with your old town hall and then register it in your new town hall. If you want to pay by direct debit then you'll need to set this up either with the town hall or with your local tax office.

Thankyou I need to look at our car documents (Permiso de Circulación) which are in the car in Spain to see what address is on this document and as you suggested go to the Town Hall in Mazarron to change the address on the car tax form, we are back in Spain in a few weeks.
