Hi, no you don't but you must have the Vaccination Certificate,  I believe in letter format (not on phone app or printed from home).  I got mine by ringing 119 and it takes about 5 days.  At the moment,  Spain are accepting all Vaccination types. Hope this helps.

I can't see why you can't print off your own vaccination certificate from the NHS app.

It contains all the information & a QR code.

No need to waste the time of 119 by phoning them.

Hi. Yea, it's the usual 'how can we make this as hard as possible'. It had to be a phone call to 119 when I needed mine, but looks like things have moved on as per Carol's reply, thank goodness!

Sorry that information is not correct.

I have just checked a few minutes ago.

Log in to the NHS app on you smartphone or desktop.

Go to the screen 'Get Your Covid Pass'

You then have 2 options 'Download PDF' & 'Receive A Copy By Email.

Select whichever suits you.

There is NO option to have a copy posted as far as I can see.

Oh, that will probably be why I rang them.  Carol, it's quite easy to get through as there is a dedicated option.

I am led to believe for Spain you can just print off your double vaccination evidence from home.

I would print off your Spain travel health form too, if your phone breaks it would be a lot of hassle if travelling on your own ie no phone backup.

When you fill in the Spain travel health form online (48hours prior to departure) it asks for all you vaccination details.

If you fill in incorrectly it won’t allow you to complete the form, it also asks which vaccinations you have had,

Please note the completed vaccination must be over 14 days old.

When this is completed you will get an email with a QR code, you can show your QR code or a printed copy at the destination airport.

They do have an expiry date on the form once printed, but the information is that it can still be used for travel purposes, be on the safe side and print off a few days before departure, the app information is live so doesn't show an expiry date

You can also upload  the COVID proof to Ryanair witch attaches to boarding pass..

Don’t know about other airlines as yet

See below of Spanish travel health email extract.

My Wife flies  out tomorrow so I will update you fingers crossed.

Hi, your wife will be fine with all that. I flew in and out twice in June so tell her not to worry!
