Hola   to bring a car from the UK   and import it into Spaiñ

You need to pass a ITV  (MOT)  and the lights must be pointing the correct way  (beam defectors will not pass)

also the tails lights  (fog and reverse)  need to be correct       

I advise you try and find the correct lights in the UK        the very basic cost to import is just over €800   plus plates      I had a 2014 Clio 

that was estimated at €2200 to import  with new lights , so I traded it in    bad mistake

Another option is look for Paul of  Cars in Spain    he may help you   see what he has on offer     I do strongly advise  to be very careful  I bought a car from Specialist Vehicles of San Javier     two weeks later the engine blew up   they would not answer my e-mails and phone calls  so I lost €3,000    that is a vast amount of money for an O.A.P  on a state pension  to lose

You stated in you original post, the car is LHD if this is the case depending where the car was first registered it should have the European certificate of conformity.

This should therefore be no problem with the ITV and you should go to Traffico to change registration.

Even though it may have started life in France, it should have had its headlamps changed to be registered in the UK, so they will be wrong for Spain. You can book a pre-rematriculation ITV and they will tell you what needs doing to pass.
