This isn't an answer to your specific question but a couple of points, just in case you don't do it often;

I found that some cars are very cheap to rent in Spain but pre-book early using one of the agencies such as rentalcars.

In my opinion it's a must to buy independent "insurance excess" cover. It's really cheap comparatively speaking, bearing in mind that even with the rental co's " free Collision Damage Waiver", if someone, or you scratch the car it could cost you in excess of 1,000 Euros! A Chinese client of mine had to pay GBP750 to Enterprise (in the UK), even though his damage was minor. I had warned him before he rented. Look at Money Saving Expert's site.

Don't rent "one way". Very often the extra local charge is very hard to see and expensive.
