Hi all, I just purchased a Spanish registered lhd car in Uk 🇬🇧, I will be taking it to spain in March. What I am looking for is reasonable car insurance. before I leave the Uk and drive it to spain. Any suggestions who I can insure this with as will be non resident and will be leaving car at airport when back in Uk.

Read message properly, I brought a Spanish reg car in Uk, it’s parked in my front garden till I take it back to spain to use, as the itv runs out before I leave Uk the dealer had the car mot so it will be legal to drive till I get itv when back in spain, simple as Orlov says,
You do realise that as a UK resident you are not allowed to drive a Spanish registered vehicle in the UK ??
Read message please, car is sitting on my front garden, when I leave Uk to bring car over to spain the car will be insured for 5 days before sailing, as I am exporting car back to spain I am allowed to drive on Uk roads, I have done my homework,
No you check your information with the DVLA.
You are NOT allowed to drive that Spanish plated vehicle on the UK roads. For any length of time insured or not.
Only a Spanish resident can drive it.
