Hi,

Is it mosquitoes you are being bitten by ? If so I can recommend the spray from Mercadona, it’s in an orange plastic bottle, approximately €3,00 excellent. It’s with all the other bug spray’s etc.

As Sue57 says you can buy it in Mercadona supermarket.

Look halfway down this link, orange bottle

https://www.andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37819

Its with all the bug / ant / fly killers near the checkouts & near the toilets.

Antihistamine tablets ( for hay fever ) will relieve the itchiness.

Or a product a cream called Anthisan, I don't know if this is available in Spain though.

If you are getting bitten through the night use the plug in mosquito killers.

I have them in every room & turn them on about 5pm & off when I wake up.

I've tried everything too, but once bitten,  I totally recommend clear hand sanitizer on the bites,  it immediately relieves the itch and cools the bite,  also reduces the swelling, I tried just the alcohol,  but it seems that the gel in the hand sanitizer keeps it on better,  so have a try,  it worked for me, x

After trying everything there's only one thing that helps (after the bite) is a damp cloth with coarse salt, rub as hard as you can. No more itching, pain, swelling...

Hi,

Use the back of a very hot teaspoon, it works a treat on the bites, mosquitoes 🦟
