Why do properties vary so much in price for what appears to be the same property eg Neptune - what are the variables ? Which sector is the best area to buy A,B,C or D? and of these sectors are there any to avoid?

The property's on A and some parts of B sectors are usually around 20% more expensive due to being near the shops...I don't really know why as you will need a car on whatever part you buy on ...I have a Neptuno with a 9x4 pool on D sector ..D sector has more permanent Residents living full time... it's located around 2.5 miles from the shops... don't get confused with the villa's on C sector for instance you will see a Neptuno with pool up for sale on C at €89,000 this is around €50,000 lower than the advarage asking price as this villa has issues...some parts of upper C have bad subsidence issues.

Thank you that’s really helpful. I did wonder about that one at £89k actually.

Hi, yes always found that strange.

However, it appears some areas are very highly sought after, others are a great deal further out, and transport is needed.

You must look for yourselves and then decide where you like.

We chose B as it seemed to suit us, and we were bang on.

Good luck, be quick, Spain opens on July 1st, and they will come, and many, many, will have had enough of there jobs, if they have one left, fed up with the UK announcement that they want to raise the retirement age now to 70 years of age, by 2028 and within 6 years of that, it will rise to 75, for men and women, ( what did you expect ) so people will sell up, take there pensions early before the age rise, and come out and retire, and good luck to them.

I think the UK knows it has to clobber anything and everything to recover, and it is about to start.

What better place than to start the rest of your life, Camposol, and they will come.

Thanks, you make some really valid points and that’s great advice.
