Hi

We are playing with the idea of moving long term to the area in the future .

We have been thinking maybe campsite for long term means prob buying a caravan and all the bits to go with it .

Also would prob mean more Benidorm area I would think .

Or do we rent a house instead ?

With a house what is the average bill for what would be like the council tax in the uk be please ?

Gives us an idea on how much would be needed each month .

Thank you

Hi my 2 bedroom ibi ( council tax ) was €180 for the year. My last 2 electric bills ( electric prices have increased ) averaged €100 per month water is averaging €40 every 2 months with no pool. This gives you an idea but will depend on the property.

Hi Rich, We rent long term in Puerto de Mazarron, 3 bed 2 bath garden back and front.   540 euro per month including the water bill. All we pay on top of that is electricity between 60&100 p/m, internet/TV 25 p/m. We spend about 150 p/w in the supermarket ( two adults+dog ) with a couple of cafe stop's included. Hope that helps

Kind regards Barry

If it’s as good as it looks online I’m sure we will be back very soon

Thanks

Forgot to mention you don't need to get a tv licence. If you wanted to buy a car 2nd hand ones are expensive. So far wherever we have found to park in the port has been free of charge. The port is lovely with lots of places to eat. We stayed on hotel la Cumbre when we viewed properties which was very nice

Good luck.
