We are considering buying a property in Spain  and like the look of Camposol despite some of the rumors about subsidence etc.

We have several small dogs that we would want to bring with us and it would be great to find a property with a garden.

Looking at buying early next year with a view to retiring over there.

Any advice would be useful in our search for the right property, thanks

Hi,

Come and stay first, search out the area, look at all villa,s, Camposol has its problems, but it is a great place for retirement, depending on your fitness, sector D is far out, and you will need transport to the shopping area, bars etc.

Sector C is nearer, but seems to have a bad name re the long ago problems with the Villa,s built.

Sector A and B seem to be very good, close to all shops , bars etc, and have minimum problems.

I have no doubt others may agree, or disagree, but we can only say as we have found.

All the communities are great, very helpful, and supportive which is good.

Come and enjoy your life, but do your research first.

Thanks for your reply and information. Do any of the properties in A and B have decent size gardens?

Yes they do, normally the bigger the villa the bigger the garden.

Also the older villas particularly on A have large gardens.

I would say Sector D seems to offer the best value for money personally. There are some amazing properties there but the downside is a lack of amenities and being a fair way out.

sdb137, I mostly agree with what you say in your reply. However, can we please all stop generalising about C sector.......
