Spain is very different to France, not as organised., in France things run so efficiently Spain runs on manana time! Once you chill and accept this life is wonderful. We left France as, over the 14 years we lived there, prices escalated. We also hadn’t realised how cold French winters could be ...

...and we lived well south. Up to now things in Spain are proving to be a happy adventure. Sit back and have a nice cup of tea!

That’s very reassuring thanks. Exactly the same reasons as us especially the winter after returning from penang and we’re near Carcassonne so pretty south. Tea was brought through with no issues now he wishes he’d bought more😂

Thanks but it’s only Yorkshire now and I drink Earl grey. Thankfully we now have vast supplies lol

A local place sells various 1200 bag of sachets for 35 eyrie, my OH well suited to be getting his Yorkshire tea in such quantities.

Yes those are available here at the English Food Co in Puerto de Mazarron and prices are on a par with those of PG Tips which I happened to take a picture of last week on "Special Offer" at €9.50 for a 160 bag box (50% extra free).

This was a particularly "Special Offer" as the previous time we saw them, they were €8.95!...

...

So advice - bring a truck load of Yorkshire Tea before you come - lol

They had PG Tips pyramids a couple of months ago for €5, bought 15 boxes, now €9.50, this store certainly knows how to charge.

Yes they certainly do.

We tend not to frequent them if we don't have to, but as the Spanish don't really do tea, it is hard to find decent tea.

I am not a tea connoisseur but like a nice cup of what is affectionately called "builders" these days.

PG fits the bill but is quite expensive here compared to UK but still only works out at about €0.04 per cup!

I’m so pleased to hear that we may get a better cup of coffee though. We love coffee but here in France we haven’t had a decent cup yet other than my own !😄

We have stopped buying Yorkshire Tea in the UK because of the ridiculous price.

Aldi Tea 21.8p / 100g Yorkshire Tea 68p / 100g

We now buy this tea from Aldi in the UK.

Fantastic tea, good strong brew.

Have a look for it it Spain & give it a try.
