Also where I can book required test and how far in advance of flight is needed, I’m due to fly to Belfast on 19th July which is a Monday and don’t want to arrive at the airport only to be told I can’t fly because I have taken the wrong test.

Also please don’t suggest I look on Ryan Air website as I have already done this and I’m more confused now than I was before I looked, it would be really helpful if the correct information was supplied by someone who has flew back to Belfast or mainland Uk recently.

we flew with Ryanair into Belfast International airport a few hours ago (Monday). Our flight was at 18.15 and we got an antigen test last Friday at 19.00 (didn’t have the option of a weekend test)…..test was €30 and like the other poster said our certificates were issued within 15 mins....

When checking in at Alicante airport you have to show your passport, your Passenger Locator Form and your test certificate and of course proof of the 2 tests (unless you are transitioning through NI to Ireland, if you are you are exempt from the 2nd and 8th day tests).
