Do you need health insurance if you are not of retirement age.
If so what is the cost and does cost more if you have exsisting health issues

In answer to question 1 Yes .
In answer to question 2 Yes.
It would cost around €150 per month provided you have no ailments...you said you had ailments so you would have to pay more depending what they are... good luck enjoy Spain.

If you are married .. and one of you is in full time employment ..and paying NI contributions then the other party is covered for NHS
