Hi all.

Has anyone out there been using teletec as thier internet provider, if so can you tell me if you are happy with it.

Originally we opted to give tele cable a go only to be told that at present its not Available where our house is on D sector.

However I have recently found out that teletec is available all over camposol, but I am reluctant to give teletec a go as I've heard it's not all together brilliant.

We would prefer cable but at the moment are left with only one other company who supply what we have, which at times can be dreadful.

Any positive feed back regarding this issue will be welcome.

I look forward to your response, Cheers.

Hi, we are on D26 with Telitec fibre & are happy with the service, Yes we have had a few issues at the beginning but all were resolved amicably

They have 3 levels of service now with the premium level on 300mb followed by 100 & then 50 , I think.with monthly charges appropriate to your contact

It's worth considering what contract you require as if you rely on your iPad/ phone they may have a" governor " type device restricting their top input irrespective of what you are contracted for

We are on D sector, almost up to the campo behind Babinas and have recently changed to Telitec from Telecable, following 8 months of continual problems, which they failed to solve. We are at the far end of D and IMHO, Telecable have too many customers for their bandwidth, something they didn’t deny, in my many discussions I had with them. Throughput with Telitec is better and (touch wood) the buffering has pretty much disappeared. We do have an issue with the Wi-Fi, mesh network and VPN not working together properly. We had new fibre installed by Telitec and so far things are better than with Telecable.

Hope this helps

Thanks legin.

We're a bit further back from you up the hill but I know where you roughly are.

We will probably go into teletec to discuss our issues as it sounds much better than the service were using.

You may want to give Jonathan a call, as I know they are often in the office for a short time most mornings as they are out doing installations

We are with Telitec, when up and running no problem but we do get down time, no warnings. At times it wouldn’t be too bad if they apologised or knocked something off the bill, they don’t. Speaking to other people the choice appears to be Telitec or Compusurf I don’t think there is much difference between them. My son and daughter think we are in the dark ages!

Don't forget that Telitec are fibre optic cable to the house & Compusurf are fixed wireless internet.

Compusurf can't therefore supply the massively fast speeds of the cable providers.

Reflected in the price of course.

Hi

We are on D8 and have Telecable no problems with the Internet. They installed late afternoon when we moved in and stayed until it was up and running. Very happy with their prices also. We are on the opposite side of the main road to Legin and I know he changed from telecable as he was getting a lot of buffering. But we don't have that problem and run a TV box through the Internet so need good Internet speeds.  Hope this helps Lynn

Hi there.

Just to say aren't where you are, we have a holiday home in Valle del Sol and have always had telitec for phone line and internet.  They are brilliant in my opinion and nothing is too much trouble for them.  Any problems they are on the end of the line sorting it, and there haven't been many and can offer you all sorts of phone/internet services.  We only have our internet on when we come over and we just give them an email and it's up and running on the day they say and off when we go home.  I'm sure they'll have something for your needs.  Wonderful service

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
