Hi new to this forum we are thinking of buying a property on camposol in the near future but reading the horror stories is this safe to do so any help or advice would be much appreciated regarding deeds ,reputable estate agents and solicitors.

Kind regards

T. Douglas

Hi Traceyd57, I bought a house on Camposol just over 2 years ago, I absolutely love it there, cant wait to live there full time, we bought a bank repo through www.bluemedinvest.com and Sabadell bank, I have my habitation cert and deeds, we used PALS solicitors, and everything was plain sailing, took about three months to complete, there are good and bad points about Camposol, but it depends where you live, the only thing that bothers me sometimes is the smell from the pig farm, but it is only about twice a week, and it is usually late at night or very early in the morning, some of the roads are in need of some repair, but other than that, on sector C6 where my house is, I have nothing to complain about.

I hope this helps, and you find your forever home.

Stuart

I bought last September on sector D Calle Salar.  I used Mercers that are one of the local estate agents.

The property was never owned so classed a new but needed work since sitting for years empty.  Part of the purchase was complete refurbishment new front, tiles, paint, new air conditioning, lights, kitchen etc..

They did fantastic job like moving into a new property.  I have attached some pictures what it looked like after refurbishment,

1 year later very happy used PAL solicitors everything was very smooth.

Just bare in mind solicitors, tax etc.. need to add 15 -20% on top of purchase price.  I had to pay more tax because the property was classed as new but if you buy one that is already owned will be bit cheaper.

Sector D is very quiet,  secluded and peaceful.  You will need a car for shopping etc about 5 minutes Camposol shops or 15 minutes Mazarron.. beach about 20 minutes, Murcia city 45 minutes so no real issues.  If you want to be near bars etc.. sector D probably not suitable.
