Hi all, just had a week on camposol, not been for over a year due to the pandemic. I was shocked to see how the place has deteriorated since I was last over. The roads on C and D, are now in a very poor state with some big deep potholes, and in a general state of disrepair. The public areas around the commercial centres were litter strewn and showing signs of tiredness.....its a shame, I was always one of those who stuck up for camposol when those who loved to knock the place came calling, but I'm afraid there's not much to get excited about, on the plus side we did have some nice food at Piccolos and the grove restaurants, but that's where the positivity ends I'm afraid. I don't think we will be back.
Totally agree.. add on all the burglaries, squatters, graffiti all over the place... you will no doubt have replies from those people who think it's a wonderful place to live and defend Camposol to the hilt, and will tell us if we don't like it...MOVE, but the issues remain nevertheless and nobody can deny the facts.

Agree, we have had a property on camposol since 2004, and apart from the sterling efforts of the various gardening groups, the place looks tired and uninviting. I heard on the radio whilst I was there that the EU had given 3 million euros to help with camposol problems, I fear it will take many more millions than that to sort the place out. It's a shame because many people have spent big money making their homes comfortable and attractive, but they have been let down badly by firstly MASA, then Mazarron council, as I said in my original post I don't think we will be back.
Hi.
I haven't joined this to defend Camposol, infact I agree with a lot of what you have written.
However I see no differences between Camposol and a vast majority of the UK, particularly inner city areas North, South, East, and West of the Capitol, and further afield from there.
Yet British motorists pay huge amounts of money on car tax, council tax ECT to keep roads to a decent standard.
I lived 25 miles outside London and the roads were atrocious, not to mention litter strewn shopping precincts, nor did I see voluntary groups consistently turning out to keep their areas as tidy as possible.
And as for the crimes and graffiti show me an urbanisation that hasn't got these problems, sounds just like any local built up area in the UK.
It's a shame you feel how you do about camposol But you have the right.
Please come back to the forum when you find somewhere you like as I'd love to give it a look over.

Hi can I first ask have you ever lived on Camposol?
If you did what made you buy and why did you leave?
I see you live in Sucina is that on one of the other Masa Urbanisation which they started building when they were having problems with people stealing materials from the contractors on Camposol hence they started cutting corners
I'm unsure Eduardo who your pointing or here from your post.
Can you be more clear who it is you want an answer from.

Yes, Camposol has huge problems. As do other urbanisations. Also, as already stated cities in the UK. We do have bodies trying to do their best. Eg: the gardening groups, our councillor and of course the CRA. If you want to help Camposol, and to improve it join the CRA, and help fight for it. It costs nothing to join, but could be worth millions of Euros. If you do not like the way the CRA is being run, join the committee, and find out, why they are doing what they do. Dont just moan about it. Help change it!

Sorry Ali, but that bus left years ago, we have had our property 17 years, and we have seen is arguments with the council and the CRA. I'm not knocking the CRA, but it's as though they are fighting with one arm tied behind their back, indeed if it wasn't for the various groups doing good things on camposol, the place would be in even more of a mess, I have nothing but respect and admiration for these people. I started this post stating the deterioration I witnessed last week after an elongated absence, I stand by that statement that I made in the original post. I was merely saying that it's a shame it's got like this.
