You would have trouble ...trying to have a swim in a hot tub....I think only you can answer your question.

We have found that we could not survive without a pool. The weather here is much hotter than we envisaged and could not survive without being able to take a dip every now and then

Must admit as we are not sure what to do with the roof terrace thinking of putting a hot tub up there...!!

Poolwater is only warm enough during hot summer. A hottub is fun but for me it makes too much noise.

Guess it depends on what you mean by Summer and whether a permie or not. We still use our property as a holiday home and fully expect to use the pool when we next arrive towards the end of May. The sea is also pleasant this time of year as well

Have noticed that many permies do feel that May (for example) is not warm enough for them and their covers are still left on...!!

Our poolwater is now 21 degrees celsius and that is way too cold for me :-)
