The thread is the same anywhere,  but I couldnt get diy plumb-in fittings in any ferreteria, so had to get a plumber to add copper pipes with taps with threaded ends and a standpipe for discharge as plumb-out fitting also non existant here. So if youre coming from UK and can install next to pipes within the hose distance bring a diy plumb-in kit and a plumb-out kit (any diy store here) and then do it yourself to save cost of plumber and you dont even need to turn water off as theyre so simple to install.I,ve used them many times over past 40yrs.
