What are the various hooting vehicles?
Hi! We know there are various vans for various things that go around beeping to let you know they are coming, but, what are the different vehicles for and are there set days etc - thanks

One beeping van is the scrap man, his days vary.
Another will be the gas man, usually a Tuesday.

Thank you!
Regular one is the gasman, leave your empty cylinder outside your front gate and he will toot when he sees it. Different days on different sectors, Every Thursday afternoon for us on D16. Other random tooters will be the "scrap fairies", leave any unwanted metal scrap/white goods etc and they will take it away for you. Delivery drivers will also usually toot before getting out and ringing the doorbell to give you a "heads up".

Oh that would be the gas man (very beneficial to some people)
The other one is the scrap man (a great annoyance to most with his tooting every 15 metres).
Unsure of the gas man's days but the scrap man appears to be every 15 minutes!
I have a feeling that there is a law in Spain against blowing your vehicle horn on an urbanisation.
I might be wrong of course.
