Why do people who live in Spain keep quoting what happens in uk, this is not uk.

Because that is how seriously dogs allowed to bark all day is taken in the U.K. - because it’s a noise disturbance. Just because we’re in Spain doesn’t mean it isn’t equally as annoying.

Well I have had Spanish neighbours for the 14 years I have lived in Spain and there dogs have always barked, don't bother me, after all it's there country I know I am an immigrant, I wouldn't go into a pub and asked people to shut up just because I wanted a quiet pint, live and let live

In the main it’s the expats dogs that are complained about the most. And if you do go into a bar that’s too noisy you can leave & go somewhere else - but tricky when it’s your home that’s affected. We should all have a bit of consideration for our neighbours at the end of the day.

A constantly barking dog would be a reason to sell the house for my husband, so I really hope that never happens.

Maybe an urbanisation was not for you then

I’m not the one with the problem - I was replying to someone else’s complaint as I can sympathise
