Hi

We were hoping to build a small self contained bedroom/ bathroom on The Rosa style property on the solarium.. its a large area and would nake a lot of sense..

Is this something we would get permission to do? Probably not i thinking! 😔 but thought i would ask if anyone has been successful in getting planning permission for this type of building work.

And had anyone done the same on the same type of house?

Yes you will need planning permission and an architect for such a project  going back a few years now I recall a friend having this done and it cost them nearly €20,000 but that was years ago but it looks great we have a Rosa and there is a lot of wasted space up there not sure if the town hall are issuing licenses for anything so I would not do anything without a licence or you will be in big trouble lots of people have taken risks but the town hall will find out many years ago we used to joke about the town hall spotter plane flying over Camposol then looking on google earth and comparing photos but who knows now they can use drones and know one would know

From what I’m hearing the council aren’t giving any planning permissions on camposol.

I’m in the uk and over later this month. I’ve got a builder coming over to quote for an extension.

From what I’m hearing, people are just having builds done and accept the fine afterwards (€500 or thereabouts) once you’ve been fined the permissions are given retrospectively.

I’ll stand to be corrected but this is what I’ve heard from a few different people
