We are looking at buying in camposol within the next month or so, has anyone got experience of renting out their own properties, we are thinking of renting out our (soon to be owned) 2 bed property in camposol during the peak season, when we wont be there. We have plenty of experience renting out properties in england, but none in holiday rentals in spain. Looking for comments on permissions/paperwork needed etc, thanks Gill

I know a few people that are doing this ...and they will all give you the same answer ..you need to find your own clients/ you need to do your own hand overs and all the cleaning to make it work ... realistically you are only going to get renters for around 3 months out of the year...you need a Tourist licence/ liability insurance/you will need a tax advisor to submit your income ...tax is payable at 24% of your income for none Residents ....do not buy if you are intending to pay a mortgage with the profit made ...as I said before you need to find your own renter's to make it work.
