Hi everyone we are. Inning out in September hopefully to find our retirement home, how is the property market out there here in England it’s gone crazy sold our house within 3 days board not even up. Seems like everyone wants a change !

Also are there bargains to be had ? Place in the sun programme on TV always say 10% below asking price is normally ok to ask, but with the Coronavirus situation are prices coming down ?

Thank you in advance for help and rrplies

Don't take to much notice of Place In The Sun ...as it's nothing more than a staged TV show ... personally I would start at 10% below the asking price ..and look at paying around 5% below the asking price provided the property is in good condition...you will need a car no matter what part of Camposol you Buy on .. Camposol is pretty big 6x4 KLM in size..

Minimum -10% is what you should aim to end up with, 'very minimum'. Most of your answers on here are from potential sellers, remember that and happy house hunting Chrissy.  Stand by Campers, my turn soon!

We viewed a few. The one we bought we fell in love with and didn't want to lose out so we offered the full asking price as it was worth it.

If you want to barter I would say 10% under. Good luck

Always start low in negotiations as you can always raise your offer.
