Hi all

Being in the uk, but own a property on sector D. We have been reading lately, that thier has been people breaking in & squatting on camposol.

We have security bars, but no alarm.

As we are worrying about this, can anyone recommend a good security alarm business for camposol.

Thanks

What's the point? You're in the UK and your phone goes and tells you your alarm has gone off in Spain! My next door neighbour was conned into installing an alarm by a well known company, cost him a fortune so he has since discontinued it. He got fed up with false alarm calls from Spain. Put up some official looking signs around you property they are cheap and do have an effect on the opportunist thief. Also look out for strange markings on the front of your property. Remove immediately if you find some.

Hi ,

Difficult if you are in UK.

Key holder????? to watch over property, needs to be near by.

Alarm system monitored are about 50 euros a month, but again needs key holder.

You can fit battery powered stick on contacts to doors and windows which give of about 120 dec in noise, but again need some one to turn them of if activated.

Good option is very powerful PIR flood lighting all around, its a great deterent, and works automatically.

Hopefully this may be useful to you.

We live out in the country in NW Murcia. About 10 years ago we had a break in, we were only out for about 45 minutes. We have very strong rejas on our house, almost impossible to bend, but the cabrones smashed holes in the walls of our house to take out the whole reja and frame.

We immediately had an alarm system fitted but it only activates once people are actually inside the house. So we bought alarmed padlocks. They are battery operated and made by Kabrus but other makes are available. We have hung them on all our rejas, they are too heavy to be activated by wind but if anyone touches them or sets off a vibration on the reja by hitting it, they beep 3 times as a warning. If someone continues to touch the reja they set off a siren of 110 decibels which continues until they are left alone. After 30 seconds of no activity, they reset themselves to the 3 beep level, if that makes sense.

The first ones we bought needed batteries changing about every month. When we had the house extended in 2012, we bought more and the batteries of the newer ones last over 6 months. Perhaps they're not very pretty but we don't notice them after all these years. They certainly give peace of mind.
