Winter heating

Hi, I've a detached Classico with an under build conversion. I was thinking of putting in smart storage heaters in the under build as three walls out of 4 are underground and therefore kind of insulated. Has anyone got the new storage heater? how have you found them cost wise? and do they keep the place warm?
I'm trying to work out if a full central heating system (which I assume will be Oil) for both villa and under build is better option than a log burner storage heater combination.
