Hi we are looking at purchasing in the area but want to know which streets were affected in the floods . Can anyone advise . We know general areas in C and D were most affected but would appreciate knowing the actual street names. Thanks

Check out posts under "subsidence" you will find all the answers there as I asked the same questions.

I would say it is hard to be specific but if you are visiting you only have to drive around to see where the roads and/or the pavements have been impacted. not sure which floods you refer to but not aware of anything that recent (last couple of years anyway).

Think it needs to be said there was just 1 flood in 2014 which was caused by a combination of an exceptional Gota Fria and rubbish being dumped in the Rambla which prevented it from draining naturally. There have been several worse floods in the UK in the past few years, yet you never hear anyone talk about the flood problems in London.....

Thanks for this we are just concerned about the properties which were damaged as we realise the flood was most likely a one off and could happen anywhere. It has not put us off the area just being cautious.

I would simply say go and view the properties that you are interested in and while you are there it will become apparent if there was flood damage to the property and/or the local area
