Hi Flo

I recently bought a new Dyson over but was flying with Ryan Air just put the complete thing including battery in our checked in luggage and had no problem, did not ask or think to tell them

Oh really!! I wonder if I dare try that with easyJet! Trouble is I am flying out alone so if they take it away from me I will not have anyone to take it back home!!!

Thanks for your  reply with your experience.

Don't forget your dyson will not be under warranty in Spain as you bought it in the UK,if not sure ring euronics on camposol, the reason is it has an English plug not Spanish, sorry to be the bairer of bad news.

Oh yes I realise that. I would just have plugged it in using a U.K. adapter.

It's the warranty I meant,I know how a women loves her dyson, but just a word of warning just in case it lets you down( they can be a bit like men ) ha ha

When I bought my Dyson it was £249 in Spain the equivalent  was 545 Euro worth paying  for  an adaptor and any repairs.

Totally agree. I am only worried that they will take it away from me at the airport because of its battery!!

Mine is out of warranty anyway. So nothing much to lose!
