Hi,

We have a Classico of sector C2.

The tiles on our roof have been covered by a newer set, but these are loose and messy.

Can anyone recommend a build to remove these and lay a new set please?

Cheers,

Lee.

The builder on A sector (next to the ferreteria) has done a few of these.  If you have any leaks it is a good time to get the waterproof membrane changed as well.

We're on C2 as well.

We had our roof retiled shortly after moving in. It was done by a Spanish builder. I had to stay hard on top of them to get it finished and they weren't the tidiest of workers.

That said, the end result is pretty good.

You are welcome to have a look.

I've sent a PM.

Isn't there something they can put on top of the existing tiles ? The tiles are good but rain leaks through, even though we had the joints repaired last year ?

Hi Lydia

Yes you an use a waterproof roof/tile paint which is will normally if applied correctly they say last 10 years.

Many years ago I had a leak on a Fortuna roof and claimed off the insurance company then applied this paint, they came to inspect the work afterwards and were quite satisfied.

You can buy this in the paint shop on sector "A".

I actually have a new tub that was surplus to our community needs cost 49 euros will sell for 30.

Look it up on the internet

Regards

Ed

Does this really seal all the joints? The biggest problem is those around the chimney. Thanks!

After the recent rainfall the other day, no leaks, but I also used the external sealant (for brickwork and sealed joints) which can be painted over.
