Places to visit

You could start with The Guns, always popular, or go into Cartagena and visit the Roman ampitheatre also the old bullring and of course the air raid shelter museum from the Civil War. Take the boat trip around Cartagena or the one from Puerto Mazarron where you can also hire boats. Alternatively go to Terramitica or the water park at Benidorm. Details on all these on Google.

Lorca is lovely too, very old quaint streets leading up to the Castle.  You can even see the devastation that the earthquake left.  Good modern shops and cafe's.  We loved it.
